Join your teammates from across the 89th Airlift Wing for a fun run in Downtown D.C.
Runners will meet at Union Station at 0900 on Thursday, 17 April for a self-paced run around the National Mall and D.C. Monuments. Registrants will receive route maps of various differences from which to choose. While there will be no medal, you can join us at Shake Shack in Union Station for a post run burger and fries. The meal is currently pay-as-you-go.
This is a free event, but there will be an option to pre-order a SAM Fox runner’s shirt (poly-cotton blend) for cost ($24.56). Orders for the shirts are due on 30 March (if we don’t sell 20 shirts, we’ll have to cancel the shirt order and you’ll get your money back).
Registration is Free with an option to buy a shirt at cost.
All routes begin and end at Union Station. Here are two sample routes, one 5.74 mi and the other 7 mi. There will be shorter and longer routes available.
